This catastrophe is ubelievable. But I hope, that it will create an envionment for serious debate about alternatives for fossil fuels. It’s really difficult and soul destroying look at what capitalism is doing to life on this planet. It’s self perpetuating suicide machine and this madness needs to be stopped. South America is a good example of the fact that alternative exists.

well if nothing else this may spur greater interest in electrification of transportation grid. It seems that the battery technology advanced by nano methods time has come. Instead of spending $50 to fill the tank with petro we spend $8 to fill the tank with watts.

If we want to survive as a species , we must stop these rapine corporations at any cost by any means necessary.

We have a right to protect our children from these poisoners.

Corexit 9500 is not universally banned in Europe. It is banned in Great Britain because it creates a problem for crustaceans attempting to gain traction on rocks. However this product is used around the world for better or for worse.. The US government and the EPA are using a number of other cleaners and dispersants in addition to Corexit. You do know that almost no BP personel were on that rig, right? They hired out to the Gulf of Mexico oil company for the job, and they made executive decisions regarding rig safety that were not approved by BP. They didn’t need to be. I think BP is taking a lot of garbage just because the mass media don’t feel like pointing any fingers at a Mexican company. Probably because the drug cartels would murder our reporters.

My spouse and i definitely must think far more in that way to see a few things i can do about this.
