It would be unworkable and it is obviously meant to scare. Once scared the conspiracy theorists will become more likely to turn to the leaders provided for them by the state. In other words controlled opposition who will run with this story and then do the thinking for them. Many conspiracy theories originate in government departments in the first place and many leaders of campaign groups are governement people so the US government doesn't have to infiltrate conspiracy theorists. It already controls most. Basically the mainstream media is controlled, the alternative media is also largely controlled and the spokespeople for many conspiracy groups are leading their followers down dead ends. Governments like it best when the thinking is done by only a few. This is just disinformation and propaganda. It would be unworkable and it is obviously meant to scare.
