Regarding functional Social Democracies – look at the Scandinavian states. They seem to be doing pretty well without homelessness and extreme worker-exploitation; curiously, they still have rich entrepreneurs to spite the lack of these social ills, so spare us the USSR comparisons. Evidently, some prefer the Indonesian “Chicago School” economic model for the USA’s future.
