I can not speak for you,but as for me I really do not need ”represenitives”to make decisions for me ! Do you not possess your own mind,will,needs,aspirations ? Does your life belong to you alone,or does your life partialy belong to so called represenitives,who supposedly always have your best interests in mind,even as they deprive you of life,property and freedom ? Being that you have accepted the arguments of slaveowners and racists as being arguments supporting liberty and the common good,perhaps then you indeed do lack any ability to reason or even live your own life !

Why should you be so eager to praise the so called ”rule of law”over the rule of man,when it is man that drafts and impliments the law ? Just as there are unjust men,there are and always have been unjust laws ! The many laws supporting slavery,the legal denial of voting rights to females and legislation which facilitated the forced sterilization and incarceration,”in mental institutions”of tens of thousands of disabled and or impoverished American citizens during the first half of the 20th century are just a few examples which prove that the written law is not always moraly superior to unwritten legal or moral codes based upon tradition,community need and or common sense.

Speaking of slavery,democracy and freedom.I dare to argue that men known to have denied human beings life and freedom in order to promote their own economic advantage, are hardly persons whom’s opinions, concerning the said subjects should be highly respected ! Humans long for liberty largly because of what we are,not because of who we are, or because of individual capabilities, and or accomplishmemts.Being that freedom is a common human desire and being that all humans ”except those who have committed the worst of crimes”deserve to be free,it is simply insane to abide by the opinions or actions, of men who failed to reconize the full humanness of an entire race of human beings ! I must point out that many of this nations so called founders,”the real founders were the working class people and the slaves”,feared both slave uprisings as well as revolts by the common people.In the case of the black slaves,I suspect that the elite ”founders” were very aware of the full humaness of those persons,which is likely why Jefferson,for example feared a vengfull slave uprising in which the slaves would take revenge upon their owners by enslaving those owners ! Jefferson knew very well that only humans could take an interest in enslaving other humans ! Besides,while many animals will seek freedom when bound,what creature other than we humans would seek both freedom and vengance upon captors ? Whatever the case may be,slaveowners should never be credited as being patriarchs of freedom ! Learn to think for yourself Gary !
