Intense persuasion has the richer societies consuming too much, and always looking forward to acquiring yet more. Newer and better cars, clothes, services, homes, playthings. It is solidly established and moving onward. Advertising is the tool - the go between connecting business and citizen. We should be very concerned about how we have been programmed, how our lives have been affected and how our children are getting in line for more. The key to positve change may lie in advertising.
